We did it!! We completed the 3rd annual "A Hero's Journey". A 24 hour long epic event where men were called and challenged to be a new kind of Man in their homes, relationships, and in their communities.
2021 - A Hero's journey A look back!
Friday April 30th 2021. Forty men left on a journey seeking encouragement and direction on how to be all that God has intended them to be. Twenty-four hours later they return as Hero's! Men who have been called and challenged to be a new kind of Man in their homes, relationships, and in their communities. They walked a Hero's Journey!
This was an amazing event filled with challenge, encouragement, and a renewed sense of purpose. Forty men participated in the inaugural 'A Hero's Journey' that took place on the beautiful North Country Trail in Newaygo County. The weather was exceptional, the wind blew while the sun warmed throughout the day.
These men built a strong brotherhood as they traversed the landscape, battled against each other in competition and worshipped in song throughout the weekend. The Holy Spirit fell upon the very ground they walked, they were challenged and encouraged to be their own Hero. The messages provided real life examples and challenge. God was exalted and men's lives were changed forever!
